NSF Telecom participated in the TalentIT 2009 Exhibition at the Dipoli Congress Center in Espoo. This is the annual recruitment event primarily targeted for graduating students.

Three prizes (iPod touch, Buffalo ministation, webcam) were raffled off among stand visitors. Winner of the first prize was Aime Santos.

NSF Telecom congratulates the winners!

NSF provided the Q4U Call Request Service deploying the open source Asterisk VoIP server to connect the Subscribers with Expert Service in the Public Telephone Network.  The system includes a Web Interface to view Callback Request or listen toVoice Messages, if the Expert is not reached.

What is the future of classic telecom services and will the operators provide continuity for their wireline subscribers?

NSF Telecom has written a white paper to present an evolution model which makes it possible to retain existing business models and telephony services, and even gain the capability to expand on new features.

A major functional upgrade of the Inter-Carrier Billing (ICB) solution for local telephony operator Ikaalisten-Parkanon Puhelin Oy, IPP, which belongs to Finnet Group, was conducted smoothly in Q1-2 2009. NSF Telecom delivered the initial ICB system to IPP already back in 2004.

The Tempo* Asterisk based VAS Platform can be provided as a stand-alone Service Node, offering a cost-efficient startup solution for Service Operators. Tempo is easily scalable by offering SS7 protocols over TDM/Sigtran and SIP/Diameter towards Networks and other Service platforms.

NSF Telecom Ab has made a contract with Sarjanen International Oy to strenghten their marketing and sales operations. Sarjanen International Oy has a deep background in various fields of international telecommunication business. The main target of the deal is to expand the business in new market areas and discover new channel partners for NSF Telecom.

NSF Telecom supports an employment program coordinated by the Finnish Employment and Economic Development Office by having two ICT system specialists in supplementary training over a few months. In turn the Company has the opportunity to increase knowledge in areas of Java server technologies, Virtual servers, Ajax programming, Data Warehousing and tools for Business Intelligence.
