Melody is a service enabler platform for convergent Mediation, Rating and Interconnecting instances in the network.

Extract - Melody collects the event information in the network.

Transform - Melody executes the instructed calculations and correlations as well as distributes the results, either as refined details to the defined destinations, or calculates the results on the basis of the provided price information and the call data, equal to call origin, call destination, call duration, amount of data transported and content etc.

Load - Melody then manipulates the data further in order to be used as input information for revenue assurance, statistics and quality of service processes that are applicable for the operator in question.
