Upgraded ICB solution for IPP has exceeded the customer expectations

A major functional upgrade of the Inter-Carrier Billing (ICB) solution for local telephony operator Ikaalisten-Parkanon Puhelin Oy, IPP, which belongs to Finnet Group, was conducted smoothly in Q1-2 2009. NSF Telecom delivered the initial ICB system to IPP already back in 2004.

The new ICB solution upgrade has now been in smooth commercial use for a month. It has significantly improved the Traffic Reporting capabilities for IPP's business needs, and reports requested by telecom authorities. ICB calculates results for the specified traffic cases, comparison of bills and calls routed between the operators.

The feedback received from the customer has been very positive, the Usability and Performance of the upgraded system has exceeded their expectations. A key success factor has been the frequent and open communication with the customer during the entire project.
