Telecom as a Service

Cases and References

Our solutions in action:

Service activation. When telecommunication users are given a self-care possibility, they often are happy to take the opportunity. Provisioning services enable this as well as much automated information exchange in the background, invisible to a user but helpful to the operator.

“With NSF’s MVNOGate we were able to speed up the transition project from service operator to MVNO. Unified service activation is one clear advantage for our business,” COO Panu Lehti of Finland's largest independent MVNO Saunalahti in 2004 (nowadays a part of Elisa).

Hybrid switch (virtual PBX). Gone are the days, when every company needed to invest heavily in a box at their office spaces that would enable forwarding calls and calling in internal shortnumbers. Virtual exchanges need no physical equipment and can be sold as monthly subscription to any who have use for keeping track of their several phone numbers.

Intelligent Network services made novel. There are so many ways that the serviceability of Internet can help today's telecommunication users and operators. Caller number can be preset to change to your private number after-hours. There is also much availability to set one's own rules with which to forward calls and messages – you could even receive voicemails in your email. Vice versa, equipment can be programmed to communicate, or the user can remote control.

”We needed to host virtual PBXs and yet to trust that integration to public switched telephone network was seamless. For this we chose NSF Telecom. Their long telecommunication experience and flexibility helped us trust we can as partners develop services further. It was essential they help us automatize”, Ari Asikainen, CTO of Cubio Communications Ltd, a Finnish mobile virtual network operator serving small and medium-sized businesses; a customer as of 2011.

Intercarrier Billing

”Thanks to NSF Telecom, our revenue assurance processes and policies are supported by a flexible partner that makes this complicated area easy and transparent for us”, Kari Penttilä, CTO of Blyk, a customer of intercarrier cloud billing as of 2008.

Telecare services. Combined voice services for caretakers and their clients, reachability and remote device control and monitoring.

Railway networks. European GSM-R compatibility and system integration for a ready-to-depart messaging solution for trains.
