Tele2 CCBS support agreement signed with Finland Tele2
NSF Telecom and Tele2 have formalized a maintenance agreement for Customer
Care and Billing Systems, as well as for the maintenance and support of
the IN applications specific for Tele2.
18.11.2002 LTN and NSF Telecom to agree upon maintenance service
NSF Telecom and Liechtenstein TeleNet (LTN) have formalized a maintenance
agreement for mediation solutions, employed by the LTN.
14.10.2002 Revenue Assurance Tool TTA for Soon Finland
Soon Communications has implemented TTAnalyzer as a part of their revenue
assurance process. TTAnalyzer is targeted to operators both mobile and
fixed domain that collect information of events in the network elements
in order to produce billing information or for statistic purposes e.g.
traffic-control, fraud, alarms etc. TTAnalyzer is designed to display
the raw data produced by the network elements in the form that is decoded
and can be compared directly with the documentation of the network element.
TTAnalyzer allows the operator to verify the actual events in the network
and compare with the results that have been achieved after the mediation.
16.10.2002 NSF-Power Call History (PCH) launched in Nigeria
NSF Telecom has delivered a PCH solution for Econet Nigeria. The PCH solution
is used with the prepaid solution in order to provide the subscribers
with the balance information. The CRM is manned with 60 agents that execute
the search in the usage database of 750.000 prepaid customers.
14.10.2002 Pre Selected Carrier Service for VLP Finland
NSF Telecom has delivered a Pre Selected Carrier code (PSC) solution to
VLP operator in Vaasa, Finland. The PSC solution is an IN-based service
that allows the operators to define 5-digit carrier codes, i.e. prefixes
for their customers in order to direct the customer initiated calls to
the specific carrier networks, for example, international, mobile or long
distance. The service is implemented in two exchanges Vaasa and Seinäjoki.
11.10.2002 Pre Selected Carrier Service for JNT Finland
NSF Telecom has delivered a Pre Selected Carrier code (PSC) solution to
JNT operator in Jakobstad, Finland. The PSC solution is an IN-based service
that allows the operators to define 5-digit carrier codes, i.e. prefixes
for their customers in order to direct the customer initiated calls to
the specific carrier networks, for example, international, mobile or long
distance.
05.09.2002 Revenue Assurance Tool TTA for PHP Finland
Päijät Hämeen Puhelin (PHP) has implemented TTAnalyzer
as part of their revenue assurance process. NSF Telecom has provided TTAnalyzer
for both AXE and Siemens environments with the option to be updated to
the next level of the switching software.
03.09.2002 Revenue assurance tool TTA for Celtel Gabon
Celtel Gabon which is a part of the MSI corporate has chosen to implement
TTAnalyzer as their Revenue assurance process locally in Gabon.
05.06.2002 Revenue Assurance Tool TTA for MSI Cellular
NSF Telecom has delivered an extended version of revenue assurance tool
TT Analyzer. The extended version of TTAnalyzer is targeted to be used
in environments where there are several users and maybe even geographically
distributed users. MSI is an international investment company that invests
in telecom operations in several African countries. In order to be able
to compare the profitability and the cost components in their headquarters
MSI has chosen to implement TTAnalyzer as a part of their internal revenue
assurance process.
03.06.2002 Expansion of the Prepaid Calling Card service for
ÅMT
NSF Telecom has delivered an extension for the Prepaid Calling Card service
to Ålands Mobiltelefon. The Prepaid Calling Card service was originally
implemented 1996. The Calling Card service was implemented in order to
allow the usage of the calling boxes, though the new coins could not be
used anymore. The Prepaid Calling Card made it also possible to introduce
the service for new user groups - tourists that paid a visit to the archipelago
of Åland.

25.04.2002 Distributorship Agreement with Ericsson, Finland
Ericsson Corporation has appointed NSF Telecom to resell and integrate
the specific products from Ericsson to existing customer installations
of the products and to other potential customers that operate in Finland.
23.04.2002 Software Maintenance Agreement with Ericsson
NSF Telecom and Ericsson Corporation have formalized a global maintenance
agreement for IN-light and other software solutions that have been provided
by the Service Factory, previously a unit of Ericsson in Finland. The
above solutions have been distributed and maintained by the global Ericsson
organization. In the future the existing customers conclude a maintenance
agreement directly with NSF Telecom and NSF Telecom maintains the necessary
competencies and resources in order to fulfill its obligations to maintain
and upgrade the above mentioned customer installations.
28.02.2002 Establishment of NSF Telecom, Mariehamn, Åland
NSF Telecom (New Services For Telecom), was established in Mariehamn,
Åland in February 2002, with the cooperation and support of the
Ericsson Corporation and the local telephone companies, Mariehamns Telefon,
Ålands Telefonandelslag and Ålands Mobiltelefon in order to
provide support and further upgrades of the systems originally provided
by Service Factory - a software design within Ericsson in Finland.
NSF Telecom is an independent company with its own products and its own
customer base in the global marketplace. NSF Telecom encompasses the headquarters,
in Mariehamn, Åland as well as the continental office in Masala,
Kirkkonummi.
NSF Telecom enables network and virtual operators to establish competitive
business solutions to commission and charge new profitable services in
the existing or new network elements.
