In the middle of 2004 NSF Telecom started MVNOGate project for Saunalahti
Group,
the largest MVNO in Finland with more than 450’000 subscribers.
Saunalahti has started “true MVNO” operations by purchasing
its own Mobile
Switching Centre and other Network Elements.
Saunalahti employs the radio network capacity of two host network operators.
NSF Telecom has provided a MVNOGate gateway to convert specified XML
Requests to corresponding commands towards the network elements and the
underlying network infrastucure. The existing Customer Care and Billing
System is used for subscriber invoicing,
and MVNOGate complements Saunalahti’s business processes in areas
of service
activation and interconnect charging, i.e. Clearing and Settlement
