solution for Prepaid Mobile Operator, Econet Wireless Nigeria
November 2002 NSF Telecom provided Econet Wireless with a Power Call
History (PCH) solution that allows the Econet customer call centre personnel
to check on-line subscriber call histories for both prepaid and postpaid
services. When the system was delivered there were more than 750.000
subscribers connected to the Econet network. The customer call centre is
capable of handling customer complaints and queries regarding subscribers’
call history effectively as PCH manages more than 100simultanous on-line
clients.

PCH provides monthly statistics for Celtel on loaded CDR’s, errors,
total costs and comparisons of balances. This makes PCH also an excellent
Revenue Assurance Tool for checking that rating and mediation is working as
expected. The system is capable of monitoring up to 5 million subscribers’
phone usage activity For the last 12 months, it provides in seconds A-number
activity information by differentiating each record type,
B-number, date, time, duration and cost.
